The TBGWC is a boat club of Grady-White boat
owners under the sponsorship of the Quality Boats of Clearwater, Florida. Our
mission is to enjoy the waters of the coast of Florida with our boats, while
engaging in not only recreational activities, but charitable and environmental
programs also.
Some of the things we do are obviously fishing expeditions in surrounding
waters, day trips to local places of water and beach recreation and sights of
interest that are accessible to from the waterways of our state. As an example,
we have traveled as a group up the intra-coastal water way from St. Petersburg
to Crystal River. We have also traveled south on the Intra-coastal waterway to
many points for weekend and longer excursions as far away as through lake
Okeechobee and Stuart Florida. We have explored the St. John's river from
Sanford to Palatka Florida and frequently participate in weekend events on the
local barrier islands..
We also provide fishing tournaments for Grady-White owners. We, twice a year,
take young people fishing who are members of the Little Pals, a division of the
Big Brothers, Big Sisters program. We have participated in programs to support
the environment and preserve our natural saltwater resources so that we, and
future generations, can enjoy the waters of our state.
